anCnoc Peatheart Competition

To help celebrate the launch of the new Peatheart bottling from anCnoc, we’ve teamed up with the multi-award winning Highland single malt whisky brand, to give one of our followers the chance of winning a bottle.

anCnoc Peatheart, which has been matured in bourbon barrels for over a decade, and has a phenol content of 40 PPM, joins the family of single malts produced at the Knockdhu distillery in Aberdeenshire.

This latest release from anCnoc, which is their smokiest bottling to date, is said to celebrate the traditions of the whisky making process, as peat was historically an essential fuel in the drying of barley for the distillation of the liquid.

Walsh Whiskey Tweet Tasting II

Continuing our hugely successful triumphant teeming thong of Twitter trending Tweet Tastings, were absolutely thrilled to announce the details of our 116th event.

 

On December 6th, we’ll be teaming up again with our good friends at the Walsh Whiskey Distillery, to share, sip and savour a gaggle of glorious Irish dramming ditty’s, from their ‘The Irishman’ and ‘Writers Tears’ brands.

 

In addition to sampling their epic ‘Writers Tears’ Red Head and Copper Pot expressions, we’ll also be pouring and exploring their dramspankingly NEW ‘The Irishman’ Cask Strength 2017 and Founders Florio Marsala bottlings.
