Jack Ryan Whiskey Tweet Tasting

Continuing our epic string of Tweet Tastings, we’re absolutely thrilled to announce that on December 7th we’ll be pouring and exploring the award winning 12 Year Old Single Malt from the Jack Ryan Whiskey Company in Dublin, Ireland.

Jack Ryan Single Malt is a continuation of the brand Ryan’s Single Malt which originated in 1913 when Thomas Ryan of the Beggars Bush, Haddington Road, Dublin acquired premium bourbon cask matured single malt available, usually from the Dublin Whiskey Distillery, some of which he further finished in first use Sherry or Port casks, giving him a number of products which he sold in his chain of pubs in Dublin.

Jack Ryan 12 Year Old Single Malt, was named ‘Best Single Malt 12 Year Old and under’ at the 2014 Irish Whiskey Awards.

Allied Glass Tweet Tasting II

Fancy sipping and savouring sensational sips from not one, not two, not three, not four but five amazing whisky brands? Then allow us to gladly oblige, as on November 25th we’re teaming up again with glass packaging specialists Allied Glass, for an evening of Tweet Tasting dramfotainment.

On the night we’ll be pouring and exploring the whisky wares from Old Pulteney, BenRiach, Loch Lomond, Tomatin and R&B Distillers. All of which have had their bottles crafted and created by Allied Glass, the UKs fourth largest glass packaging producer and supplier to some of the world’s biggest drinks brands.

Highland Park Dark Origins Tweet Tasting

More social media based dramfotainment you say? Well allow us to gladly oblige, as we’re delighted to announce that on November 9th, we’re teaming up again with our good friends at Highland Park, for an evening of darkly delicious dramming discoveries.

On the night, we’ll be pouring and exploring Highland Park’s Dark Origins expression, followed by a Highland Park Dark Origins Smoky Old Fashioned cocktail, mixed to perfection by Mixxit mixologist Wayne Collins, who we’re thrilled to say will also be tweeting in on the action. If that wasn’t enough we’ll be finishing the night in fine style with Highland Park’s decadently, dark and delish 18 Year Old.

Craigellachie Tweet Tasting

Continuing our triumphant teeming throng of Tweet Tastings, we’re absolutely thrilled to announce that on November 19th, we’ll be sharing, sipping and savouring a swathe of Speyside whisky wares from the Craigellachie distillery.

 

On the night we’ll be pouring and exploring our way through Craigellachie’s 13 Year Old, 17 Year Old, 19 Year Old (travel retail exclusive) 21 Year Old (cask strength - bottled for the Craigellachie Hotel) and 23 Year Old expressions.

 

We’re also delighted to announce that on the night we’ll joined by Stephen Marshall, Bacardi’s Global Marketing Manager for single malts, who’ll not be tweeting in on the action but on hand to answer your questions on the night.

 

Selected tasters will also receive a copy of the new Craigelllachie distillery book, written by whisky expert and all round great guy Dave Broom.

As huge fans of all things Liquid Americana, we’re absolutely thrilled and delighted to announce that on November 23rd we’ll be teaming up with the mighty Jefferson’s Bourbon, for a pre-Thanksgiving evening of Tweet Tasting dramfotainment.

Headlined by and as part of the UK launch for the new Jefferson’s ‘Groth’ extra-matured, cabernet sauvignon cask finished bourbon and Jefferson’s ‘Manhattan’ barrel finished bottled cocktail, this is one tasting not to miss from one of Kentucky’s finest. There might also be a few surprises on the night as we quite literally get into that Thanksgiving spirit!

Teeling Tweet Tasting III

More social media based dramfotainment you say? Well allow us to gladly oblige, as we’re delighted to announce that on November 16th, we’ll be sipping and savouring a brand new release from our good friends at the Teeling Whiskey Company.

Having launched a successful string of multi award winning blended, grain and vintage single malt independent bottlings since its launch in 2012, the Teeling Whiskey Company officially opened its brand new distillery and visitor centre in June. Located in the Libertines area, the distillery is the first in Dublin for over 125 years.
