Whisky is something that’s there to be enjoyed, embraced, shared and indeed not taken too seriously. So The Whisky Wire has been set up to deliver a fresh, vibrant and passionate view of the wide and wonderful world of whisky and all the brands, distilleries and people within it.
Aimed at both newbie’s and enthusiasts alike, regardless if they’re 21 or 121, The Whisky Wire is helping to create a world of whisky as it should be; fun, unstuffy, unpretentious and exclusively for everyone!
In addition to its reviews, interviews and ever growing content The Whisky Wire also helps to spread the good word of the dram through tasting events both in person and via social media.
In September 2011 The Whisky Wire kicked off an on going series of hugely successful Tweet Tastings on Twitter. So for we've hosted these events for Compass Box, Grant’s Whisky, Glenfiddich, Glen Garioch, Cooley, Highland Park and Cutty Sark.
