Pinch, punch, first dram of the month! A new month means another bottle competition here at The Whisky Wire, and for July we’re thrilled to announce that we’re teaming up with our friends at the Cotswolds Distillery, to give away a bottle of their award-winning single malt whisky.
Launched in October 2017, by Cotswolds Distillery Founder Dan Szor, Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky is the first whisky ever distilled in the Cotswolds.
The distillery uses 100% locally grown, floor-malted barley and matures the whisky in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels and reconditioned red wine casks. Each bottle lists the barley variety, harvest year and local Cotswolds farm on which it was grown.
