Quick Fire Whisky Tasting Notes #2

Tomatin Legacy

Nose: Lemon drizzle cake, freshly sliced pineapple, a whiff-ette of forest pine, aniseed twists, green tea, Tunnock’s teacakes, vanilla custard, sweet musk and a penetration-ette of youthful oak.

Palate: Sherbet lemons, gooseberries, bramley apples, pineapple upside down cake, scoops of Häagen-Dazs vanilla and Dulce de Leche ice cream, more aniseed twists, ground black and pink peppercorns and a touch of over eager youthful oak.

Finish: A Feisty, fresh, fruity linger-ette of a finish.

Summary: It doesn't quite manage to hit the same heights and depths as some of their aged expressions, but it's a great dramspank-ette all the same.
