The Month of Scotchtober

Well a new month is upon us, and ‘The Whisky Wire’ is declaring this the month of Scotchtober. 31 Dramtabulous filled days between the months of September and November.

So what’s it all about?

Well to be honest it’s all just a bit of fun, but why not use it as an opportunity to celebrate all that's wonderful about Scotch whisky and to let the rest of the world know about it!

Why not use this month as an excuse to try something new. Maybe a single malt from one of those lesser known but equally as dramtabulous distilleries, or even try getting up, close and personal with a beautiful blend.

Scotchtober Dram of the Week

Every Monday throughout ‘Scotchtober’ we will announce a dram of the week, along with the details of the retailer that's offering the said dram for the most competitive price.

Each dram has been chosen for its overall quality, its whisky newbie friendliness and because it has a price that wont break the bank, allowing everyone to have the opportunity to try something new and dramtabulous!

Week 1 - The Tweeddale Blend £26.50 at Royal Mile Whiskies
Week 2 - Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old £27.95 at Master of Malt
Week 3 - Glendronach 12 Year Old Original £28.31 from Loch Fyne Whiskies
Week 4 - Sainsbury's TTD Highland 12 Year Old £18.99 from Sainsbury's
